What is the Cass Freight Shipment Index?

The Cass Freight Index measures the volume of intra-continental freight shipments across North America from the entire Cass client base. These shipments can include everything from raw materials to finished goods. While 75% of shipment activity recorded comes from trucking, the Cass Freight Index also includes rail, air, and all other domestic modes of transportation.
